Along the Way…

An alleged Big Foot print was seen along the Camino. Spotted and inspected by Prof. R. Cardin.
Our visit to Torre do Río, a restored 18th century textile complex, circled by the Umia river, It was beautifully surrounded by nature in a Galician style and made for a truly surreal and magical environment for our one day off the trail.

Oh and did I mention we did make it to Santiago. Received our Compostela document for completing the walk as well. : )

Great Visuals along the way

Sagres – Famous for it’s location at the extreme southwestern tip of mainland Europe; also considered “The End of the World”.

The Algarve – Very cool place with stunning views!

Had the pleasure of meeting Rosie Bennett at her Kojo Boutique in Lagos. In the months when there are no tourists she has been busy working on a new book. I look forward to reading it and so should you!
We hiked and then boated to some of these beautiful spots. Super cool and just amazing geological creations!

…and just out of Lagos we cruised an area called “the Grotto”. It was awesome…

The Algarve is rich with history as well…

And a few parting shots from Faro, Portugal.
