Okay, so we got a little side tracked and ended up in Viana do Castelo on the coast, north of Porto. Staying in a beautiful Posada over looking the small city. We now had our good friends Cindy and Bill with us and we kept saying we should head to Vigo …but continually we were surprised by the beauty of the landscape and villages we passed through… Guimaraes, Braga, A Garde, Oia, and then, the stunning – Baiona. So that day we did not even make it to Vigo.
We were having way too much fun – discovering Celtic ruins and a fabulous lunch at Henrietta’s near the water’s edge …in the extremely small village of Oia. From there Bill and I rented bikes and rode around the castle wall’s ledges of Baiona while Sue and Cindy shopped.
Vigo would have to wait for another day.

Stumbling across the quaint micro village of Oai.
The road to Vigo included – the beautiful town of Baiona…
